The Southwest Research, Extension and Education Center (REEC) (https://moaes.missouri.edu/southwest-research-extension-and-education-center/), located near Mt. Vernon, invites area agricultural producers to join in a public Field Day Sept. 17. The SW-REEC serves 22 counties in southwest Missouri and conducts research focused on key agricultural industries, including beef, forage and horticultural crops. Field day attendees can hear the latest findings and connect with faculty and extension specialists to improve their own farm practices.
