Root/Route Alumni Exhibition: Call for SVS Alumni

Call Description Root/Route: 2026 Alumni Biennial Exhibition Root/Route is the theme of the second biennial alumni exhibition for the School of Visual Studies. Root as in tendrils, Route as in maps. How do we reach outward from our starting points, from the seeds and points of origin into the world? Interested Alumni must have graduated from the School of Visual Studies or its respective programs (prior to 2017): Art, Art History, Graphic Design, Film Studies, or Digital Storytelling at the University of Missouri. Submissions include: Personal information, 1-3 artworks, CV, Bio, Statement, and artwork information. See Artwork Data for submission below. All work must be original to the artist and the source material must be original to the artist or from a permitted source. Selected artists will be notified on or before July 1, 2026, including the specific artwork(s) and/or videos/films selected by the jury.
