Ragtag Birthday: Bend it like Beckham

Doors at 6:15PM // Reception at 6:30PM // Film at 7:30PM 18-year-old Jess (Parminder Nagra) dreams of becoming a professional footballer like her idol David Beckham but her parents would rather she focus solely on academic pursuits. When Jess catches the attention of Jules (Keira Knightley) while playing at the park, Jules invites her to join the local women’s team that she also plays on. Knowing that her parents are unable to support her dream, Jess joins the team secretly so she can bend it like Beckham. This event is free for members and $16 for the general public.
